Computer Class Descriptions
Read below for class descriptions. We take on going sign ups for classes and will fill classes with wait listed people before announcing the class to the public.

Absolute Beginner Class
Description: The absolute beginner class is for people who have never used a computer before. You do not need to know anything to take this class, just be willing to try and learn. We will teach you the basics of the computer and how to use the internet.
Beginner Internet Class
Description: This class is for people who have limited abilities on the computer. Sign up for this class if you know how to use a mouse, know how to open the internet and use basic programs. If you have used a computer a little, but feel very uncomfortable, this class is for you.
Beginning Word
Description: If you have used a computer, but haven't used Microsoft Word before this is the class for you. Learn the basics of Microsoft Word. You should have basic knowledge of a computer and how to use it. [Taught by an outside instructor]
Intermediate Word
Description: If you have used a computer and have used Microsoft Word a little bit, this class if for you. We will go over some slightly more intermediate function and build on the basics. [Taught by an outside instructor]
Advanced Word
Description: If you feel comfortable with a computer and have used Microsoft Word regularly, come and learn about more advanced functions. [Taught by an outside instructor]
Beginning Excel
Description: Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet program where you can do anything from organize information to to automatically calculate equations. If you want to learn how to use Excel, sign up for this workshop.
Intermediate Excel
Description: If you have used Excel in the past and want to learn more about some functions in Excel, sign up for this class.
Learning Powerpoint
Description: Powerpoint is a presentation software produced by Microsoft. Powerpoint is heavily used in the corportate and education arenas. If you would like to learn a new skill for school or to enhance your professional skills sign up for this class.
Website Basics
Description: Want to learn how to write a website? This multi-week class will teach you the basics and you will be able to write your own webpage.
